Six bonding methods of refractory adhesive

  1. Hydration combined - agent reacts with water hydration hydration products generated at room temperature by means of a combination combined.
  2. Chemical binding - binding means between the agent and curing agent, binding agent and the refractory, or chemical reaction at room temperature or with heating to produce a chemical reaction which generates a compound having a binding agent binding effect.
  3. Polymeric binding - by means of a catalyst or a cross linking agent, the bonding agent is a poly condensation to form a network-like structure to produce bonding strength.
  4. Ceramic bond - means combining low-temperature sintering, which can be added in bulk refractory to reduce the sintering temperature refractory additives or metal powders, in order to greatly reduce the temperature of the liquid appeared to promote the solid-liquid reaction at low temperatures combine to produce low-temperature sintering.
  5. Cohere - rely on adding coagulant to make particles (colloidal particles) combine to produce condensation occurs
  6. Adhesive binding - is one of the following means of several physical effects arising from combining.
  • Physical adsorption: intermolecular interactions depend - van der Waals force binding generated;
  • Diffusion: the role of the thermal motion of molecules of the substance, the molecules are bonded with the adhesive composition of the diffusion interaction occurs forming a diffusion layer, thereby forming a strong bond;
  • Electrostatic interactions: the interface is bonded with the adhesive composition of the existence of the electric double layer by electrostatic forces arising from the electric double layer combination.
