The submerged nozzle of different materials

1. Al2O3-C/ZrO2-C composite nozzle

2. (MgO-C) – (Al2O3-C) – (ZrO2-C) composite nozzle
In order to improve the durability of the submerged entry nozzle, the molten steel flow part adopts MgO-C to control quality, prolong the service life and improve casting speed, the slag line part uses ZrO2 or BN to improve corrosion resistance. Body parts using Al2O3-C.
3. ZrB2-C protective sleeve
Sen slag line part of the protective sleeve, requirements of material has good resistance to spalling resistance. Poor high temperature stability of ZrC, ZrN, and Zr boride. Adopt ZrB-C material, add appropriate amount of metal Al to improve the corrosion resistance, the critical size reduction of ZrB2, prevent spalling resistance drop.
4. The submerged entry nozzle add AZT, AZTS material
Using Al2O3-ZrO2-TiO2 sintering and electric melting method (AZT) and Al2O3-ZrO2-TiO2-SiO2 (AZTS) materials, has low expansion coefficient, corrosion resistance, good stability characteristics under reducing atmosphere. Using two kinds of raw materials of AZT and AZTS, fused silica amount according to certain proportion of particles (FS), using resin as binder, submerged entry nozzle, the isostatic pressing of excellent performance, Yilong Refractoryhigh mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and good thermal shock resistance characteristics, to meet the needs of multiple ladle continuous casting. 5. Long time multi furnace continuous casting of the submerged entry nozzle

The submerged entry nozzle wall consists of an upper and lower section of zirconium aluminum carbon composite, thin-walled nozzle made of wall thickness of only 12.5mm. Its good thermal shock resistance, strong corrosion resistance, in use are not falling, no crack, erosion is slight, can increase the number of continuous cast, reduce material consumption, improve the quality of casting billet.
